1 – Bandwidth – Hosting companies constantly monitor how much data or traffic is transferred back and forth from each customer’s website. Although they say UNLIMITED BANDWIDTH it just means if the traffic on your site increases, they take away a little speed from everyone else. Solution – WMP works harder to be more personalized than other mass hosting companies. We set up your account with a much larger allocated bandwidth. 2 – Loss of Data – Hosting companies typically send an automated email out notifying an assigned person that your site may have been infected with a virus. Without a webmaster or someone that understands what to do, the hosting company may choose to quarantine your website, take it off-line, or even delete your website.

Solution – WMP will personally work with Host Gator on your behalf to resolve any issues. We understand hosting & web development and have the team to support all of your needs. Not even Host Gator offers this level of service.

3 – Website Quits Working – Hosting companies are only responsible to store, send, and receive your data. If you have updates, patches for special applications, or malware issues, most hosting companies say it is your responsibility to repair or restore the website. This is considered your “webmaster’s” responsibility. Support for these issues are not available from Host Gator.

As part of our Hosting Packages, each month we review each website and personally contact you, or automatically fix any updates, patches* or other issues* we see. It’s much easier to have someone run checkups, than finding out the hard way when your site is down.

*This is a monitoring service and although most fixes only require updates of installed elements, there may be instances where the issues involved will require work that will need to be billed on an individual basis. Any instance requiring additional billable work will require a signed authorization, prior to any work to be performed.

4 – Emails Not Working – Hosting companies are responsible for your emails after they have been set up. It’s typically the responsibility of a “webmaster” or web developer to originally set up these new email addresses.

Solution – WMP will set up each email address FREE as part of our Hosting Packages. Our Advanced Hosting Package also includes the service that we will personally contact you to help you set up your computer to receive your emails.
